I lean against the wall in front of Malyn’s chambers. I’m just watching, learning. I don’t know much about our new princess. Maybe if I knew her better, I’d have a better idea of what I could do.
Does she visit the Dreaming often, for instance? Can she still move in the Waking while she’s visiting the land of dreamers?
Could life be that easy? Not that it would be easy to lure her into sleepwalking out of a tower window, but it’d be good to know if it was possible.
There’s a lot I don’t know about the Dreaming or what I can do in it. I was asleep for years before I even became aware that I was dreaming. And who knows how long it took before I learned to begin navigating it?
