Chapter 13 Dahlia’s face changes. It becomes scratched and lines of blood flow over her cheeks. Long gashes begin streaking down her face and she can’t seem to look at us. “What’s happening?” I ask. “Is this real?” asks Silver. A dreamer presents herself the way she sees herself. Silver looks young in her dreams because that’s how she sees herself. Damaged people sometimes show it in their appearance in their dreams.
