“What did Hives, uh, Ald, say?” Rey demanded.
I looked around to ensure no one was close enough to hear—we’d stayed in the park—and replied, “Ald said he knew about Emile. It was he who’d told Gail to call us. But, yeah, he’s staying on top of it, given that Death Angel is a person of interest in several murders here and most likely in Reg-Breezy’s and Emile’s.”
“He’ll call us with updates?” Linda pressed.
“He said he would.”
“Maybe we could get Jimmy C to do that post about Death Angel. There’s nothing wrong with saying he’s ‘a person of interest’.” Rey stood and stretched, looked around thoughtfully, and snapped her fingers. “Hey, why not have him announce he’s doing a series on notorious, still-to-be-caught, killers-for-hire … and he features Death Angel as the first?”
