Anger Issues

"Before he could finish his sentence he got a slap on the shoulders of the mysterious man. He turned around and gave the handsome hunk a hug. "Vladimir, little brother, you're late." He said laughing." "Alex, you know me. I always have something to do." And gave his brother a wink. I was probably some weird freak who was drooling like a dog because that's how I felt when the other attendees at the party gave me strange looks. It wasn't my fault that I stared like that. He just looked perfect in his black 3 part suit and not to forget he smelled nice, rather expensive. Any woman with eyes would stare and I was no exception. "Vladimir, I'd like to introduce you to someone." Axel turned to me again and gave me a warm smile. Oh no no, what if he remembers. No he couldn't remember he was too drunk. Wasn't he? My head was jumping and I felt my hands getting clammy. My throat became dry and I started sweating like crazy while it was freezing cold here. What was I supposed to do. I felt eyes resting on me and looked up. I looked straight at Vladimir. His eyes were sharp and his mouth became a thin line. He recognized me. Shit "Nice to meet you?" He said he wanted to know my name and held out his hand to me. "Amara, the pleasure is mutual" I said in a shaky tone and gave him a made smile. I grabbed his hand and shook it, but felt a sting of pain go through my arm as he squeezed my hand hard and gave me a devilish grin. "Stop scaring her Vladimir" Axel said to break the ice "She's just a guest, not a criminal". He said to his brother in a harsh tone. "If I was a criminal, you would have noticed." I said uncomfortable. Why did I say that again? The brothers were both looking at me at the same time. Axel wanted to say something, but someone else was ahead of him. "Everything okay here? Max had joined us now. He always came at the right time. I could kiss him, but now wasn't the right time. "Yes" I said, "I just wanted to go look for you." And gave Max a hug. I felt eyes burning on my back and quickly turned to the brothers again. "Who is he?" The angry tone came from Vladimir. A typical Alpha male. I suddenly felt like puking. I just wanted to open my mouth to introduce Max, but was robustly cut off. "I didn't ask you, I asked him." He said in a cold tone as he frowned and looked at me briefly. "I'm Max, a friend of Amara's." Said Max put an arm around my shoulder. Vladimir's eyes follow Max's arm around my shoulders. "Just a friend?" Asked Vladimir to disbelieve. I had had enough of his behavior. He may have the looks, but he clearly doesn't have the courtesy. "Yes, do you have a problem with that? Now if you'll excuse us, we're going to find our friend." I said with my big mouth. "It was nice to meet you Alex" and gave him a warm smile before I turned around and dragged Max to Rosaline. "What was that?" Max asked, "Do you know him?" he asked worried "What?! No?" I lied. I had no energy to explain this now, and without looking back. I walked around the corner as fast as I could looking for the dining room. Or I tried to. I felt a hand on my shoulder and didn't remember that anyone except Max was close by. Confused, I turned around and looked straight into two golden eyes, the ones that gave me such an itch. Vladimir- I felt the grip around my shoulder tighten and a slight pain went through my shoulder that gently lash me. "What are you doing here?!" Vladimir whispered. You can clearly see that he was angry. "What am I doing here? No the question is what are you doing here!" I shouted at him with my finger on his chest. "And don't be so aggressive. The only one who should be aggressive here is me and you know why i***t!" This time I almost spit my words out in his face. Everything happened so fast. Suddenly I was standing in a cage of Vladimir's body and the wall. My head hit the wall with a loud bang. The strong breath of Vladimir blew in my face while he kept looking at me. "What did you call me Melanie?" He said in a voice that was nothing more than a whisper. His hands had found their way to my neck and pressed hard enough that I was having trouble breathing. "I-i***t, and I'm sticking with that." I gave him a fake smile to hide how scared I really was "And do something about your anger problems it's rather-" the pressure around my throat got harder "u-unattractive" I said faltering. A low sound came out of his throat that had to continue as a smile. "I'd be careful with your attitude. It can get you into trouble fast Melanie." He brought his mouth to my ear "I don't hesitate twice to put someone's head on a stake." His grip on my throat loosened until he finally let go of me. "Forget about last night, it was nothing." He turned around and wanted to move on. "And oh yes, I'm already taking lessons to control my anger by the way" he said and gave me a dirty grin. So he left the hallway and disappeared into the party. Sorry fort the short chapter folks! Exams are coming up!
