"Wait a moment." Seeing that Jonathan Sanders was really about to leave, Isabella Gomez hurriedly asked, "Have you found Mrs Carter?"
"She has already moved. I found out she relocated to Yishan. Once you're better, I plan on going there."
Isabella Gomez nodded, knowing he must be just as anxious to find his mother as soon as possible. She said, "Then go quickly. I only caught a cold from the rain; it's not a serious illness. Besides, my brother is here with me."
Isabella Gomez simply couldn't believe that Mrs Carter would abandon Jonathan Sanders. The fact that she had risked her own safety to save someone unrelated to her showed how kind-hearted and maternal she was. How could she possibly abandon her own son?
There had to be a story behind it.
