Chapter 146: Reconciliation
Jonathan Sanders, with great care, brought the meal to the table. It was a pot of rice porridge that had been simmering for a long time, carrying a soft, sweet aroma.
Isabella Gomez's appetite was instantly piqued, and without hesitation, she sat down to eat. "What did my brother say?"
Her first question being about another man made Jonathan Sanders quite unhappy. "Why don't you ask me what I said?"
Isabella Gomez gave him a look.
Jonathan Sanders sighed lightly, "He told me to take you to get our marriage certificate as soon as possible, no more delays."
At the banquet, he had announced that Isabella was his wife, but it was only in his heart; they still needed the legal document to make it official.
Isabella Gomez shook her head, "No way."
