Leaving the study, Jonathan Sanders saw Nicholas Sanders fiddling with his phone. He walked past indifferently.
Nicholas Sanders chuckled, "Jonathan, not pretending to be lame anymore?"
Jonathan Sanders's face darkened. The plan to feign a disability had failed because of Isabella's sudden kidnapping, becoming a blunder in Jonathan Sanders's scheme. Now, Nicholas Sanders was mocking him outright, ridiculing his failure.
"Have you been very idle lately?" Jonathan Sanders's expression remained unchanged. "I heard you've attracted quite a bit of foreign investment. Have you forgotten... how the Gu family fell?"
After Jonathan Sanders finished speaking, Nicholas Sanders's expression changed. Jonathan Sanders was clearly threatening him openly.
