Chapter 46: I Don't Have a Nephew as Old as You
Upon returning home, Jonathan Sanders found Isabella Gomez slurping instant noodles in front of her drawing tablet, taking a bite and then making a stroke.
He took a deep breath, feeling both heartache and anger.
"Why are you eating instant noodles again?" He snatched the noodle box away.
Before they knew each other, Isabella Gomez often solved her meals this way. Later, after she had taken him in, their daily meals were warm and hearty, with meat and vegetables at every meal. Now, she was back to living on instant noodles.
Isabella Gomez was so engrossed in her drawing that she didn't even notice he had returned. She paused for a moment, glancing at her noodles.
"Oh... I haven't gotten used to you being back yet."
