“Is there someone else you have your eyes on?” he asked.
“Yeah, he’s here too” She replied absentmindedly.
“Why aren’t you teaming up with him then.? ” Conrad asked, surprised
“I don’t want to help him and I figure it will be too cold-hearted to watch him die”
Conrad understood what Saya meant. She didn’t mind who she took back to her family but she couldn’t take back a waste thus those she set her eyes on had to solve their problems. If she teamed up with any one of them and they got into danger, it would be too cruel on her part if she just watched without intervening. She knew herself well enough to know she wouldn’t intervene, if he couldn’t solve his problems why would she bother about him? She didn’t care if they died here or not.
