Two months later...
That morning, the hot weather in New York was suffocating. There was no wind blowing and even if I was wearing a really short dress in light cotton I felt like fainting.
Summer ended faster than I expected. The days in Manfield with my mom passed by slowly, but the month in Miami with my father was beautiful. That has been one of the most incredible summers of my life. Florida was wonderful and dad took me to see a lot of wonderful places. In Miami I met a lot of nice people that had become my friends. The boys were definitely cute and I met a lot of them. I lost count of how many of them had hit on me that summer... but only one managed to catch my attention and... slowly... to make me like him. Alex was a really adorable guy. Nice, kind, intelligent, sarcast
