Days passed in a blur, I sighed in relief at the end of my shift, it was finally Friday. Piper was in town again and I was buzzing with excitement. We were gonna have a slumber party and I was gonna tell her everything that happened between me and Nathan. I tried my hardest not to think about him, but no matter what he kept creeping into my mind. I cranked up the radio in my car and poorly sang along to the music. I stopped by Walmart on my way home to get some snacks and cheap wine. I picked out some dollar movies out of the clearance bin by the registers. Of course I got nothing but corny romantic comedies.
