Harris stood nervously at the door of an office, he took a deep breath and walked in, he pushed the door open and looked around. A man with silver hair and bright green eyes was scribbling on papers. "Mr. Jefferson?" Harris called out to him. "Come in" the man said without looking up and Harris closed the door behind him, "have a seat". Harris obeyed, not knowing what else to do and sat in the dark brown leather chair facing his lover’s father. Mr. Jefferson signed the last paper and set his pen to the side, he clasped his hands together atop the stack of pages and looked at Harris. First thoughts, he was a joke.
