"Hah!" Moira woke up with a start, her breath caught in her throat. Her chest rose and fell rapidly as if her lungs had forgotten how to breathe calmly. She sat up, pressing her hand reflexively against her left chest in an attempt to calm her pounding heart. "I had a nightmare," she muttered softly. But there was something else. It wasn't just the remnants of a dream. There was a warm sensation pulsing slowly, like a soft call knocking from within. "Is the Moonstone Heart here?" she whispered, her voice trembling. "It's very close." Moira looked around. The living room was plunged into darkness. Only a small table lamp in the corner was dimly lit. She pulled back the covers, lowered her feet to the floor, and took a deep breath to calm herself. She reached for the water bottle
