Chapter 3

Daisy was still at Harriet's place but suddenly received a call from Amelia,

📱What the heck are you still doing Daisy? You're not supposed to stay out too late!

Amelia's worried voice emerged from the phone,

"Am heading out now" Daisy mumbled, softly and hanged up.

"Who's that? " Harriet did a sign language,

"Amelia, she doesn't like it when I stay out too late. I will get going now mom"

Daisy uttered and Harriet pulled her into a hug.

Soon, Daisy left.

UNKNOWN LOCATION ••••

A woman was seated on a chair, she received a text message on her phone,

she smirked and stood up as she stretched her body.

She strode into a dark alley and opened a wooden crooked door, it was an underground basement.

A woman was sprawled on the floor, her hands and legs were chained. She

was almost looking like a skeleton, her white curly hair fell on her face, almost covering her eyes.

"Hello Harriet, how has your stay here been? you're really looking like a

wretched skeleton...haha! " The woman uttered and let out a sinister laughter.

"P...please...Charlotte...let...me go.. " The lady known as Harriet uttered weakly.

The lady known as Charlotte bent and yanked Harriet's hair hard,

"I won't even dare! I have a mission in which I must accomplish! " Charlotte

uttered and hissed.

She untied Harriet and dragged her outside, she took her to the sitting room

and threw her to the floor in a harsh manner.

She glanced down at Harriet and let out an evil grin, she shut her eyes and

a dark smoke engulfed her, she vanished.

Immediately she vanished, the door burst open and Damon strode in, his

gaze cold and murderous. He bent and gripped Harriet's neck tight,

"Where's she?!! " He snarled dangerously.

Harriet could only glare at him weakly through her curly white hair, clearly

finding it difficult to speak.

Damon became angry, he flung Harriet

carelessly and she crashed down to the floor with a faint thud.

"Where's that thief?!! Speak!!" He growled like a hungry lion.

Harriet only shook her head sideways indicating that she knows nothing.

Damon marched angrily towards her, he was angry as hell!!

"Damon, let's just take her with us, she needs some torture" Carl butts in coldly.

Damon grabbed Harriet's head up by her chin, he vanished into thin air with her......

Daisy dialed Harriet's line for the umpteenth time but it still wasn't going through,

"Mom is not taking my calls! " Daisy panicked.

Amelia glanced towards her direction and dialed Harriet's line with her own

phone but it still wasn't going through.

"Well maybe she's asleep, this is night for God's sake!" Amelia retorted,

bluntly.

"I don't care, something must have happened to her! " Daisy retorted as

she put on her jacket, hurriedly.

"Don't tell me that you're going out this late

to look for her?! " Amelia shrieked, surprised.

Daisy nodded and was about to go when her phone rang, she quickly

picked up seeing that it was Jackson.

📱Daisy..! Your mom has been kidnapped!

Jackson's worried voice emerged from the phone.

"What?! " Daisy shrieked as she felt her whole world came crumbling down.

📱I only wanted to pay her a visit but when I got there

couldn't find her...only some traces of blood....

Jackson's voice became hoarse and shaky.

The phone slipped and crashed down to the floor, Daisy staggered and also

fell down on the floor.

Amelia quickly ran to where Daisy was

and knelt down on the floor,

"What happened..? " Amelia asked, worriedly.

"My mom...she has been kidnapped! Oh God! " Daisy sobbed, heavily.

"It could be Damon who took her away but how did he know..? " Amelia mumbled.

"Come on don't cry, we'll take this case to the cops tomorrow morning " Amelia retorted calmly.

"No! I don't want tomorrow! I wanna look for mom this night, he should take

me instead and leave my mom alone!!" Daisy sobbed and quickly ran outside.

"Daisy no! You can't go outside! " Amelia shrieked and quickly ran after her.

Soon, Daisy and Amelia got to Harriet's house, Daisy threw the door open as

she searched everywhere but couldn't find Harriet.

"Mom!?! Mom?! Please don't leave me!! " Daisy sobbed.

Amelia glanced around the small looking house and frowned,

The place was so cold and felt kinda empty, it felt like someone wasn't even living in this house.

"Ugh..Daisy..? Are you sure your mom has been living here? The place is just

too cold and lonely " Amelia mumbled, seriously.

Daisy ignored her as she continued sobbing,

Amelia thought of how Jackson had called Daisy and broke the news to her,

But how did he know?? Well if he comes back, she's going to question him.

Amelia suddenly felt an unusual feeling and goosebumps popped out of her skin.

"Daisy...something doesn't seem right here, I think we should go " Amelia

uttered, fearfully and turned towards the door.

Daisy paused too when she felt a cold chill ran down her spine,

She stood up and went outside but they both froze when they saw a figure

leaning against the wall, they couldn't see the face of the figure due to how dark the place was.

Amelia quickly pulled Daisy towards her car,

"Get in fast! " Amelia screamed fearfully. She got in and daisy got in

She tried starting the car but it refused,

"Be fast please! It's coming towards

my direction!! " Daisy screamed, fearfully.

Amelia tried but the car refused to start, suddenly the car door threw open on its own.

"Christ!! " Amelia shrieked in fear. She turned to Daisy's direction but couldn't

find her there anymore.

Amelia gasped and tried to run away

but fear gripped her when she saw a dark figure standing in front of her, it had a black hoodie on.

"No!...who are...you?! " Amelia retorted, fearfully.

The figure stretched its hand forward and touched Amelia's head, she tried to move but couldn't, it felt like a heavy

force was holding her down. The figure raised its head up and her heart

skipped when she saw the face, it was a young man. He was looking so cute

like an angel! It felt like he just fell down straight from heaven!!

His eyes changed from black to red and he vanished with her.....

Oden street at downtown ••••• The rain began to pour heavily, Daisy

glanced around her surrounding as she sobbed fearfully, How did she got

here? Where's Amelia?! Oh no...Amelia...where could she be...?

Daisy thought worriedly.

Everywhere was dark, lonely and rainy, the cloud cried bitterly releasing heavy droplets

of rain. The cloud rumbles, thunder strikes loudly

Daisy was looking so wretched and fearful, she glanced at a particular

direction and saw him...he was ambling towards her slowly, his

long black jacket was sweeping the wet floor. She

sprang up from the ground and began to run, she was heavily drenched as the rain poured

madly on her but she cared not, she was running away from him...yes him, the devil himself.

He has finally found her, she was tired of running because she has been

running and hiding for years but now that he has already seen her, what's the

essence of running?

No! She wants to still run, if he gets his

hands on her then she's dead! She knows the grave sin she committed....a

sin in which, the whole world would never forgive her when they find out that it was

her all along....

She clenched her teeth, painfully when

a thorn pieced under her foot, since she was bare footed.

A sharp and painful sob escaped her throat, suddenly her head hit the

wall...no it wasn't a wall but a man's hard and heavily built chest.

She fearfully took a step back, she slipped and crash down to the floor,

she trembled when she saw the man's face, the king of hell....

Conniption gripped her and she stuttered as she pleaded fearfully with

heavy tears rolling down

her pale cheek.

"A...am sorry...a...am sorry....for...give me...i was...a fool....back then... " She stuttered, fearfully...

The man let out a cold and dark chuckle,

"Then you'll be a fool today..too" He mumbled, lazily but his tone was low,

dangerous and laced with venom. His sharp and piercing gaze

bore holes on her pale face, she suddenly grasped her head tight and let out a loud piercing scream,

"Ahhhh!!! P... Please make...it stop!! " Daisy screamed in pain as blood seeped out of her nostrils.

Damon scoffed,

His two hands were crossed behind

his back, his gaze was cold and devoid of any emotion.

Daisy sobbed as she felt her head ached badly,

Damon turned and began to walk away,

"I'll give you three seconds to run

away... " He stated dryly and vanished into thin air but his lazy and cold voice still lingered on the air.

"One.. "

Daisy hissed in pain as she struggled to run away but couldn't, it felt like her whole body was glued to the ground

"Two... "

"Ah!! No!! " Daisy screamed in tears as she forced herself to stand up but couldn't.

"Three...times up."

Daisy heard his distant, cold and lazy voice but couldn't see him,

That was when reality hits her hard, he has finally caught her, maybe if she had

listened to Amelia then all these wouldn't have happened.

Daisy thought and sobbed bitterly, suddenly, she vanished......
