There was a large room off the kitchen that held enough food to feed an army, which considering the werewolf appetite wasn't all that surprising. Upstairs was Derek's room, which seemed to be a twin to mine, though he was done in darker colors and had a little more personality than my own. A stack of books sat on the nightstand and there was a snazzy laptop sitting on the coffee table in his sitting area. In the hall between our rooms were two guest bedrooms that shared a Jack-and-Jill bath. There was also a laundry room so we didn't have to cart clothes up and down the stairs. Derek's house was beautiful, but it wasn't someplace I wanted to live permanently. Don't get me wrong, it was pretty nice to have a huge game room, gym, and spa-like bathrooms. But it wasn't me.
