A memory, the first thing that permeates Venus’s mind. As she wakes from her dream, she can recall a stern but calming voice spouting words of wisdom related to her unfortunate circumstances. This woman in Venus’s dreams spoke in such a metaphorical way that it sounded like poetry. That same voice that spoke loving words to an angel in her previous dreams and the same hurt voice that writhed in pain when God turned her into a monster.
