Another week began as harsh as usual. Sales continued, and the three girl group also went smoothly.
"I've noticed Cameroon's attitude towards you has changed all of a sudden," Carolyn said as she handed over an order to Brooke.
" Me ?......Really?" Brooke answered whilst rolling her eyes in all corners of her eye socket.
The girls broke into laughter when shelly cleared her throat. Finally ,that meant there's chemistry between them two.
" Girl........break down the chemistry between you two for us." Curiosity started to get the better of Shirley.
" Oh,"as if confused, Brooke added. " he's just a friend," and she relaxed, turned to face them, and had a long stir at the white kitchen ceiling as if it were giving her answers.
" That doesn't explain all." Carolyn was already in the mood of listening.
"Oh yh."Brooke gave that her innocent good girl tone again and gave out a loud sigh as if being chased.
"We've been speaking of late," she added.
"Really ?" Both listeners said in unison and burst into hilarious round of laughter.
Although the girls had been getting along for the past two weeks and have been having fun amongst themselves in the kitchen area, they acted as strangers in the eatry area. That's the real business place.
There's been rules and even restrictions that do not allow them to speak too comfortably with customers. So most of the times they don't communicate "outside of the box" issues with their cherished customers.
" You seem to be dull today. What's up?" A soft familiar but yet uncertain voice questioned from behind.
"Oh, it's Romeo coming for her juliet," Carolyn said within her giggles as soon as she realised that it was Cameroon that asked.
Cameroon Reynolds is one of the staffs at thier food joint. No one's certain about his duty or position, but then they all knew him as the 'office man' .
"Oh yh im good , just a littlemoodiness," Brooke answered him and took his hands
And they excused themselves out the kitchen .
At that instant, the girls exchanged that 'I knew it' looks and smirked.
"Who are we to judge?" Carolyn gave one of her dramatic shrugg .
