POV: Olivia Sunlight spilled across the room, reflecting off the water and dancing along the walls. I woke to the sound of waves and the steady warmth of Dominic beside me. For a moment, I didn’t move. I just watched him. He looked different like this, relaxed, unguarded. The sharp edges of the man everyone feared softened in sleep. Carefully, I shifted slightly, not wanting to wake him. But his arm tightened around me instantly. “Where do you think you’re going?” he murmured, his voice rough with sleep. I smiled faintly. “Nowhere.” “Good.” He pulled me closer without even opening his eyes. I let out a soft laugh. “You’re very clingy this morning.” I teased. “Only with you.” He confessed, kissing my lips. There it was again. That quiet sincerity that caught me off guard every time
