After a long journey, Jennifer and I finally found a safe grassy area and stopped to catch our breath. We had been trekking through the jungle all morning, battling a black bear, and even the wild berries we had hoped to collect were crushed in our escape. Jennifer was panting, trying to cool her burning lungs. After resting for a moment, I turned to Jennifer and said, "There is a rich variety of wildlife in this jungle, but many have been destroyed by the storm.
