Chapter 57

Inside moryhate mine

They were now in the the mine as they heard the strange footsteps that didn't sound at all like it was a single person that was incoming but probably a few persons, probably a very dangerous set; the death squad

Harrad had quickly covered Camellia mouth to avoid her shouting and thereby giving up their location entirely

Silma was now as alert as this was not where he plans on dieing, just after Denver their master was dead, now the same set of of people would like to take them with their master to the grave and this sit right with Silma 

Taking a battle stance all of them brought out their weapons ready to counter what so ever was to come in from the other side of the wall

Then they heard some whispering from outside, "they aren't here I am telling you" one of the people whose footsteps they had just heard was now in conversation with the rest of the people there

"Am telling you I clearly saw them, am really sure of what I saw, am serious" the one who the other was talking to responded

Silma and Harrad, together with Camellia and Silma trainee were now near the door of the cell patch they were in as they put their ears to the door in order to overhear what was going on outside, the conversations

Then Silma and Harrad together recognized one of the voices that was speaking outside

"Is that not Freddie, from the upper minion level?" Silma asked Harrad to see if he had also recognized the voice he had just heard

"Yeah that's definitely that moron Freddie" Harrad replied as he had also heard the voice Silma was referring to

And they both smiled in relief as there wasn't any danger then but allies outside

"What's the problem?, Why are you guys smiling, is that not the death squad right outside there " Camelia asked, still with tension in her voice, tho a bit reduced now seeing that the two elders in the room were no calmed down

But not taking any chances as people can also be that way when they have finally accepted death as the only way out of a situation

She had experience something of that nature before, where her former guardian was in a situation that had no way out, so he just smiled and accepted his faith of instant death

"It's alright Camelia, they are allies outside, there is no need to worry" Harrad told her

This finally calmed her down as there was no more tension now between them that were all around the place

Coming out of the cell patch, one of the Savage outside shouted

"I told you guys that I saw them, now don't you see who is this!, I was right, I was definitely right" the Savage was laughing hard as he said all these

"So you guys are still alive" Silma said as he came out of the cell patch

"Thought a stupid set of Savagers would be long dead since the entrance of the death squad" Silma added, but this did not seem to annoy any of them as they mostly just laughed

The group that had just found Silma and Harrad were like 10 in number, mostly made up of amateur fighters and former trainees

"What are you doing alive too, Sir Silma and Harrad, thought you guys were with the chief when the death squad came into the mines" one of the Savagers suddenly asked 

"Heard everyone who was with him in the fight against the death squad were all struck down within some minutes of the fight" 

The same Savage who had asked why both Silma and Harrad was still alive said this 

"That is of lesser concern right now, the death squad are still in the mine and are all parading the place like they own it, taking the lives of who they see fit" Silma said in annoyance

"We can't let that continue for too long, this is our home and they have no right to come here acting all high and might" Silma addeda

Having found some newfound motivation that surprised Harrad, Camelia and his trainee, it even surprised him himself too

Taking a stance on what he had just said and vowing to drive the death squad our of their home, moryhate mine

"Let's go inside and have a better talk on all this" Harrad said as he confirmed that no one else was coming, but their number had greatly increased by 10 Savagers

With this they all went inside the cell patch that Silma, Harrad, Camelia and Silma trainee was before they had heard the footsteps and thought it was the death squad

Entering back inside with so much allies Camelia mind was now at rest as she went into the inner patch and left the men to discuss their death or life, that's their concern

Taking her dagger with her, she went inside the inner patch and set the covering to restrict entrance to it

"So how many of us are left now?" Harrad asked as all were now settled down

"Oh, this is just us remaining from ex fighting group and failed trainees group" Freddie spoke up now

"We have been moving around for a bit in search of others who are still alive" he added

"Moving around?" Silma asked furious

"Moving around when the death squad are also moving around?" Silma asked again as it sounded to him like they were asking for their death sentence

"Yeah, we were moving around to search for others" Freddie said again not understanding that Silma was being sarcastic in his last question

"We had just hoped we didn't come across the death squad while we were searching for the other Savagers, those guys are really mean to be honest"

"Yeah they are" Silma replied, trying to understand why they had chosen to follow the words of Freddie after they were all formed as a team

'Was probably Freddie that had started the search for all the rest of the Savagers, making them all accustomed to him giving all the instructions' Silma mind went on

'But that is now going to change now' Silma thought, 'now they have a real and experience leader; ME' Silma smiled as he thought about this
