A secret revealed….

After passing through the narrow breathtaking secret passage they were now at the large hall, which was a surprising structure to see as it looked so different from the mines he had spent all his whole life living in

“What place is this?” Belitrus asked Sybella, looking around stunned at what his sight held before him, the Item he found where definitely not of the mines

There were things that looked like what Elvira had told him about and tried to explained to him, like this strange looking man hanging on wall like he was in a cage, not moving at all, 'what had Elvira even called it.….', He tried to remember

….Picture yes picture that's what she said, I remember Belitrus mind was racing, “i wish Elvira was here to see all this he unconsciously said silently

“what did you say?” Sybella asked hearing a little, "oh no, am just saying this place is unbelievable" 

“yeah right?, Look at all these crazy stuff, where else can you find this in the mine” Sybella said with a fresh perception of her surrounding 

“maybe I should just take one of these stuffs and use it to sell in the tunnel matket” sybella said as she was about to touch it before hearing the sound of the door opening, quickly retracting her hand back

Durid had entered the hall in a hurry "Sybella I have been expecting you since the morning where have…." He paused on seeing the stranger at the side, back facing him as he looked with concentration at the painting on the wall

Durid short of words, hands pointing at Belitrus “who is this…” he said in a voice that had a taste of anger and annoyance, this was the kind of thing he hates, just yesterday he shows one person his secret hall he had discovered a long time ago, now the one person brings another, making it more of a problem

“Oh, he's just a friend, don't give him much attention” She said with her enticing voice

Belitrus still looking at the picture, captivated by it was not in any mood to leave this new jewellery he had just found, coming towards him, Durid waved his hands to obstruct Belitrus view as Belitrus regained himself, coming back to the moment at hand

“Who are you, and what are you doing in my library” Belitrus grasped, he had always heard that word from Elvira 'library' which she had always said it together with the word 'book'

Sybella looking at Durid in a weird manner, 'he has started again with his strange words and way of speaking' she thought

"Library' I know that word, Elvira have always told me about it "place for books.… Reading" he said trying to recall his memory 

“i know that word” he repeated, now it was Durid turn to be starstruck, over his years he had become enlightened after finding this precious hall of his within the walls of the mines, no one he had ever said the word 'library' or 'book' to, had ever recognized what it was he was talking about 

“Who is this Elvira you are talking about, you said she knew about books?” Durid asked, now totally interested in Belitrus

Sybella folded her hands in suprise, unsure what was going on between both of them, she brought Belitrus her secret love to see what she have just discovered, and now here they are, bonding like two birds in their private sky 

Seeing that Durid was so interested in something that Elvira love so much, he thought it good to tell Durid about Elvira without holding back any details

“Shes from the outside world, a noble who wants us to be free from the bongage of the mines” Belitrus strated explaining his relationship with Elvira and all about her

“What?, Are you really serious ” Durid was feeling lucky, he just a real connection to the outside world

“Yeah, I am serious, she is the daughter of the lord of the mine and the land in the outside world”

Durid couldn't bear the news he had just received, as he paced back and forth, deep in thought

Remembering Zenous, the leader of the smuggling activities in the Alzhamera mine “……Oh, I forgot, Sybella, Zenous is in a bad shape, if you could go into the room to see what you can do for him”

“Room?” she asked him, knowing where he was referring to but just making it known that he's words were strange "oh sorry again, cell patch, what ever you call it" he quickly replied before Sybella would make it a long one, like she always did

Before finding about this great hall, Durid was just a normal Savage, tho a curious one, but after finding this place, he had been transformed in a whole different entity, gaining high class knowledge of the world around him and the outside world

Books all which he had spent his first five years learning how to read them and another three years constantly taking in knowledge, making him a lot smarter

This was one of the most fascinating thing Durid have ever heard from a person, normally where he gets fascinating things from was from the series of books he had found in this great hall which is now his home for a long time, a secret which he had held for so long until yesterday when an opportunity struck

Yesterday was a day that displayed an opportunity for Durid but also presented him with a big choice 

The Alzhamera smuggling activities was inflitrated by a group he later found out was called the assassination squad of the Red dynasty, and now also, all the men he had been working with on the smuggling had been put down, while he narrowly escaped his death due to he's inquisitive and cautious personality, rushing back to the cell where the deliveries were often given to runners

Informing them about what he just saw, thereby giving him access to the innermost chambers where he met the leader of the smuggling network in Alzhamera who was now currently lying down on his bed, severely injured

The big choice was whether he should try and heal the injured leader, which means exposing his secret place to both the smuggling network leader and the medicine shop healer, so he took the chance and was almost regretting it now before he heard about Elvira

Durid and Belitrus now having a long talk as Sybella went into the room to treat her patient

Seeing that he was in pain she checked inside her bag and brought what looked like a dark bottle, wasn't a poison though but a strong tonic to relieve the pain in him as she took her time to clean his injury and redress it

“Oh no it must have reached time for my batch mining” he said as he recalled what time it is 

“Sybella!!!!!!!” he shouted her name already putting the fault of his lateness on her

“its seems you have something important that you need to do?” Durid asked him, looking at him in disbelief, who does the normal batch mining anymore

“Yes, to go mine, and yeah I know I could avoid if I want to, but the reason I have never done that is because I normally go towards the mine entrance side in wait for Elvira when she is likely to come into the mine, so I have to get across a lot of mine guards, so staying faithful to the batch mining is what keeps us on good terms” Belitrus explained to Durid

“Oh i see, that way you don't get problems on the way as you to wait for Elvira, that's reasonable” Durid said

Sybella now done with her patient came out of the room “Ok, am done" she said to Belitrus then turning to Durid, “you should let him rest a lot, let him speak when he wants to, and give him a lot of food and water if available, and take this” she stretched her hand which had a can of some stuff inside on it "give it to him every few hours, we need to start going"

“ok, I would follow your instructions” he said, "and please don't bring anymore new person" he said referring to Sybella "let's try to keep this place a secret, but come with Belitrus next time you do that"

“ok D, would do just that” Sybella said to him as they went towards the secret passage from whence they came in from

“Belitrus!, I would really love to talk with Elvira whenever she comes to the mine” he shouted as they were already going

“Tell her about me and this place!” he called out hoping they hear his last call

Saying the last phrase in hope that hearing about the hall inside the mine would interest her enough to come visiting him
