Chapter 34

Elvira goes to the mine….

Getting the announcement to come to breakfast at the royal general table, and excited to see Cussusex at the meal hall, Thalia and Alva couldn't wait

Elvira went to the inner rooms to go prepare for going out for the meal as her clothing for the mine, Thalia and Alva was impatient as that wanted to quickly go to the royal general table to meet them there, but had no option than to wait for Elvira who was dressing now, impatiently urging her on so they can catch up with the lords and Cussusex as they still on the table

The lords mostly spent their time our of their sight inside the royal court room talking about business all day and having their meals brought to them there and all other pleasures that they require or request for

Now as Alva sat down still impatient, but not showing it out like Thalia who couldn't rest one bit, pacing up and the bedroom, calling out on Elvira every five seconds "are you done?" She have been asking constantly without stop

Elvira didn't let the disturbance shake her as she dressed and prepared her clothing she was to use specialy made for the mines

Coming out when she was ready, Thalia came dragging her so they can get to the general table as fast as they can, with Alva following behind "what have you been doing, we have been waiting for hours now" she claimed in exaggeration, not expecting any reply , so as Elvira gave on she wasn't even listening

“was getting ready, am not used to these kinds of clothes” Elvira confessed but Thalia wasn't listening, while Alva giggled at her reply

On reaching the hall which had a long table filled food and chairs all around the table, about 10 chairs was there, Alva could see counting it with her eyes.

While Thalia was moonstruck in annoyance that she couldn't see the lords and Cussusex sitted there in the hall, 'they must have already eaten and gone back to their chambers' thought Thalia and this annoyed her greatly as she had a very high expectation on her for this morning

Turning to Elvira with fury in her eyes, but keeping it on a low as Elvira was her guest “your the reason this happened, we were already ready since the early hours of the morning and came to wake you up so we can all meet up, but see now, we missed them because of you”

Elvira was sitting down as she looked at Thalia who was accusing her of what she had no idea of "caused what?" Elvira asked knowing that she would probably respond badly to it

“Missing the lords in the hall as they have already eaten and gone back to their chambers” Thalia said more loudly now almost shouting

“They haven't yet arrived dear” lady Matta said as she entered into the hall using the side entrance doors

“0h, seriously” she reacts in suprise as the side door which Matta had just came in with was now reponed

And coming into the hall was Cussusex and the lord and Earl followed at his back walking side by side

Thalia and Alva just stood looking at him as he comes forward, not blinking an eye nor dashing in to the side as their full concentration was on him

On reaching there Cussusex went over to the side where Elvira was sitting in, and sat beside her, and this made Thalia and Alva extremely jealous, and immediately Elvira stood up, bending her head with her two hands on his shoulders she said "sit tight Cussusex" as she went told Thalia

Hearing his name from her mouth made him a lot happy, he can't remember her calling him by name ever before, 'this seems like it's gonna be a good day ' he thought

On reaching Thalia who had jealousy in her eyes, after she had stood up from beside Cussusex, he drag her hand as she hesitatedly follow Elvira

Elvira then dropped Thalia on the chair just beside Cussusex, and went again to get Alva, pulling her as she follows with ease and dropped her on the other side of the chair beside Cussusex where she had been sitting when Cussusex came in

She then leaned over on the table "My lord Cussusex meet lady Thalia" she said gesturing to Thalia, "and over here lady Alva" she said again gesturing to Alva

Then shifting her graze over to Thalia and Alva "my honoured guest meet the heir of the great Earl of Michigan" she said gesturing to Cussusex

Lord Alzath and Earl Cuscox just sat there watching the drama playing before them, 'Elvira is really an erratic fire' Earl Cuscox thought in his mind 'and she really burns'

Thalia and Alva now so tensed as they sat side by side with Cussusex, thanks to Elvira erratic behaviours, which she had done without fore warning

With time they started talking , Thalia and Cussusex, and the later Alva, three of them now in heated conversation even after the meal was finished and lord Alzath and Earl Cuscox already gone back to their chambers, Elvira quietly went out, happy she had finally engaged Cussusex, which means she is now free to go to the Mine

Getting out of the large meal hall, she quickly made her way to back to her room to collect the stuffs she had packed for the journey to the mines

Taking all the loads she was now ready to leave, quietly without drawing any attention to herself she made her way to the royal stable which had by it's side carts and wagons she could have easily used for a comfortable journey, but she didn't want to, so chose her favourite horse from the stable feed it so it can last the journey they are about to embark on

Saddling up the horse as it finished eating, she leapt onto it, putting her load by it's side and with her bow and arrow at her back she rode off, galloping as fast as she could through the wind, not informing anyone before she, only Thalia and Alva who she airly told them that she was going out so they should keep Cussusex occupied

Now on a ride through through the wind to the mines of Alzhamera, he's thought of Belitrus and other savagers she have met there on her few visits to the mines

Riding as fast as she can so that she could make it to the mine in time to see Belitrus who must be waiting for her in the normal place

After riding for many hours she was now in the outskirts of the mine, relieved she started galloping again, making the final lap to get to the mine gate she went in speed, she could now see the movement in and out of the Mine, people bringing in goods in a long line and getting their payment, any kind of goods was accepted as it was for the savagers they did not care about the quality

Standing in front of the mine gate was always like a first experience seeing it as it was so captivating, did humans built this structure that stands in front of her? She had always asked herself, because was laid so low and so high did look like the creation of men but of gods, the Edian gods

The entrance to the mine of Alzhamera was only one, and the road leading to it was one so different and strange, going down several miles in a slope that on does no notice when standing on it but visible from the hill

Going down the long slope with her horse that was a far distance from its starting point, she was now in front of the great mine gate in front of her

What was looking so low and deep into the group when she had being on its hill, not yet on the one and only road that leads to the mine, the great mine gate wall was now looking like a huge giant the the top could not be seen

Then she went to a side and change into her mine guard uniform to be able to get into the great gate, seeing do many mines guards around It was looking like a city filled with uniformed person

Passing different check point, search points, weapons point, she could not enter the mine with her bow or arrow and she knew this, but always tried to enter inside, all weapons are kept in a safe box to avoid an influx of weapons into the hands of the savagers

Dropping off her weapon which is her highly valued bow and arrow he headed onto the passage way, filled with holes she knew was a deadly trap and it would only be activated if there was a break out by Savagers from the Mine

Now crossed over to the last great wall which was steel thick to withstand any attacks from the any side, watching as it raises up just a little to allow a average sized human to be able to pass

As she crosses the last great steel thick wall into the official land of the Mine, as all the mine guards who just passed through went their different ways into the tunnels of the Mine

Going straight to the place where Belitrus would be if he had been waiting, “whats.your mining batch number” one of the mine guard called to her but she didn't bother to reply as she keeps going to where she was adamant on getting to

She couldn't find Belitrus where he was supposed to wait for her, disappointed and in fear of what may have happened to him she entered into one of the cell patch and changed into her Savager clothing to blend with the crowd when inside the mines

It's the Red dynasty law that mine guards should never pull off their uniforms when inside the Mine, no matter the situation they find themselves in

Now she had to look for Belitrus as she went inside on the Mine, having no fear of what may

Getting to the cell patch where he normally lives in, she decided to wait for him there

Waiting for Belitrus she fell asleep in the cell patch, suddenly waking up to the sound of a voice outside the cell patch, she cleaned her eyes then she heard the voice again

“Belitrus, it's me Sybella” he heard the female voice saying

‘wow, so Belitrus had a girlfriend, I never knew’

Seeing that nobody saw when she entered the cell patch of Belitrus, she decided to wait it out and let Sybella know that Belitrus wasn't around, so she doesn't think that Belitrus has another woman in his home if she was really his girlfriend

“Belitrus! You there?” Sybella called out again, 'she had such intriguing voice, it's forceful making it a controlling type' she thought in her mind as she continued to wait in hope Sybella leaves

Lying down on the rock platform used as a bed Elvira was waiting, not knowing when Sybella had shifted the coverings over the cell patch and had enter into the cell patch

Now suddenly seeing a face directly up, standing over her in a view, she jumped up out of the sleeping platform as she was so shocked

“oh sorry there, didnt mean to scare the hell out of you like that” Sybella had said after Elvira had jumped in shock at the effect of the overlooking figure before her

“Yeah…. Yeah…, I didn't see you come in” Elvira said, now backed up against the wall

“You didn't hear me calling out from outside too?” asked Sybella who was looking up and down her, checking her out

“No…. No... I heard that, I heard when you were calling out to the room” Sybella now looks at her in a nostalgic way as she could always hear Durid calling cell patch rooms like Elvira had just did

“Why didn't you come out to save me the worries by telling me Belitrus wasn't around, even who are you, never seen you with Belitrus before nor heard about a

him having a lodging mate” Sybella was now being suspicious, maybe she was not friend of Belitrus nor have any knowledge on him but was just here to rest or hide in his cell patch, and worse steal from him

“Oh, so sorry, am Elvira” she said bringing forward her hand to shake Sybella who just stood there in total awe of the gesture wondering what she was doing with her hands brought out that way "am surprised Elvira haven't said anything about me before"

“No, that's the other way around” Sybella followed the same gesture Elvira had just done with her hands out without touching Elvira own hands “He had actually been talking about you always” she said in a low tone ‘and that makes me a lot jealous’

Taking the hand of Sybella and locking it with that of hers which she had already brought out “That's the way it is done” she smiled

“And am so sorry I did not come out when you were calling for Belitrus" Elvira apologized for her recent behaviour "I didn't want to spook you off”
