Chapter 31

A New day with expectations….

Now Elvira had sent her new guests to sleep, promising them that she was sure to link them up with Cussusex the next morning and have managed to ward off her mother long talk by promising to change her behaviours

She sat on her bed thinking of the Mine, and the people it holds in it's bossom, the so much and so little difference between the people living inside the mines and the people living outside it, the delightful similar contraction of both worlds

The believed the mine to be of a different world entirely, at least in concept, the shape was all so different in all its entirety, having a roof like top over all of the land in the mine unlike it's counterpart, the outside world, being so big and having such a large growing population was something so magnificent, a world of its own in all ways

Elvira believed that opening access for the people of the mine to enter into the outside world was beneficial to all, though there will probably be some casualties from some of the wild newly arrived Savagers but with time all would be normal and improvements will be made based on a new point of view by the people of the mines

All the savagers have become so used to the mine after so many generations passed, living inside of it that they couldn't live without it, it was now their home but what they wanted was access to the outer world, not to be kept in a b*****e, a cage even tho a large one at that but still a cage 

Elvira was just there thinking before she goes to bed, ‘i really need to to spend some time in the Mine’ she thought to herself, it was just so refreshing experiencing such a different world, it was like being in a game, but a very dangerous game that the anything can happen, with the effects 100% real

Elvira now with the thought of everything going on and the hope for a far more better future that is more free for everyone and much more just, she fell into a deep sleep, and off goes reality, on goes her ideal world in a dream she wished was real

“Oh it's gonna be a great day, I am so happy” Alva said with smile and delight all over her face

At the early hours of the next morning Thalia and Alva were already awake and in conversation, they couldn't sleep much of the night as their thoughts ran in hope of what awaits them the day that is to come

“Yeah, a totally great day, but for me not you because I am the one who gets the Earl's son, he's mine for the taking” she smiled as she said that rubbing her lips with some kind of gentle ointment

“Wow that's a good colour, it matches your face perfectly ” Alva appreciated the look Thalia got from the making up of her face with the different cans which rare to find in the Red dynasty, not minding the negative feedback from Thalia on her luck on Cussusex

“How did you get your hands on that?” Alva asked, looking at the big wooden box of so many different stuffs for the use of the face 

“I have heard it comes from lands far away from the Red dynasty, I don't know how true or possible is that” Alva added to her question

The box of ointments and colours were known to come from far away lands outside the Red dynasty, where they made use of it for performers in the circus, on getting here the ladies of the Red dynasty saw a means of using it to make their face different and attractive, 'more colourful' they would normally say

Though most people of the Red dynasty believed that the tales of the wooden box of colours was all made up to increase sells as they did not believe it true that there were any lands outside of the Red dynasty

It was common knowledge among the people of the Red dynasty that the Red dynasty was the whole world, and the only outsiders were the savages who lived in the rotten mines serving the Red dynasty with the mining of flaurixe ore and powder for so many generations

“My father, the nobleman fegerson bought it for me in a trading town on one of his journeys on his duty for the Red dynasty” Thalia said in delight as it was a considered a honour on doing anything that was in service to the Red dynasty

“Do you know he spent a fortune on buying this item, they say it was so rare that it probably was the only one remaining in the Red dynasty, so my father rushed and bought it before the trader sold it to another” Thalia was in glee this morning and Alva knew the reason, it was also what made her feel delightful this morning 

“my father loves me so much he always buy me the best things anytime he is back from one of he's journey, am always so delightful at his return because I know he has something for me among the loads he always brings back home” Thalia couldn't stop now 

“The day is already breaking, we should go call Elvira from her room, don't you think?” Alva told her friend Thalia as she was already feeling bad for not getting anything from her own father whenever he comes back home, though she had never expected to get something every time on her father's return until now

“Yeah but just give me a moment, let me get my face in order before we go to find her” Thalia said as she continued to apply her colours and shiny ointments all over her face

On getting done with their appearance, the most important thing to them which they must get right every day in their lives, they ventured out of their private chambers into the halls to go find Elvira

Going round the halls giggling and talking as they went on with their search for Elvira “she is supposed to have her private chambers somewhere around here” the Thalia said looking around

“we should probably ask someone around about for where exactly, we can't go knocking at every door we see, what if we make a mistake and knock on the lord and lady of Alzhamera chamber”, “Ouch ….., that would be really bad” Thalia said in a tone that signals how bad it would be

On seeing a man walking towards the corner in a limping manner, they walked fast as they moved towards him to catch up as their long gown could not allow them the freedom of a run

On getting near him they could see that he was a warrior with his light armour while using a long specialy made stick to support himself as he walked 'must have just been from a tough battle' they both thought in their minds 

“Excuse me please” Alva called him with her so much girly voice so they could catch up, because with his clutches and limping movement, he was still moving at a faster paced as compared to them

Turning back with a repulsive look on he's face “eh …eh?, what is it he asked his pursuers

Taken aback by he's mood of response, Alva started stammering “Oh… yes, …..we ..we……”

“We are looking for the private chambers of lady Elvira” Thalia came in fast to save Alva the burden of losing tongue and inturn face

On hearing the name Elvira, he now even had a much more of the repulsive look on he's face, literally glaring at the both of them

“And why are you asking me about that!” he snapped at the both of them, leaving them in shock as they were suprise to be receiving such words from a warrior in the royal surrounding, doesn't he knows they were Nobles

“Oh we are so sorry” Thalia had said, dragging Alva along with her as she went off to avoid getting involved in any trouble with this distasteful warrior

On seeing a maid in relief they asked her for Elvira's private chambers, her bedroom, the maid then happily took them to the lady Elvira room and announced

“My lady Elvira, you have visitors, two females with the names, miss Thalia and miss Alva”, no answer

"Maybe she did not hear you, go over it again" Thalia said to the maid, as the maid obeyed and knocked again

“My lady Elvira, you have visitors, two females with the names, miss Thalia and miss Alva”

Elvira just waking up to the sound of an announcing maid, she looked out the window, it was still too early for anything, why had they called her out so early for breakfast

Then she fully hear the second announcement by the maid 'My lady Elvira, you have visitors, two females with the names, miss Thalia and miss Alva', the maid had said, she quickly jumped out of the bed "what would they be doing here by such a time in the morning

"Coming, would be out in a second"

After spending some minutes on arranging herself to appear presentable, she went to open the door

“Hello ladies” Elvira had said to them on opening the door as the both entered into the bedroom not waiting for an invitation

“You can't believe what we just experienced this morning” Thalia was already talking, “totally unacceptable”

Elvira not wanting anything to offend them enough to warrant them to leave too soon, which would be bad for her, hindering her from going into the mines since they had guests, especially that Cussusex of a heir who it was her duty to keep him company and for that reason she had brought her guests

Elvira tried to calm her down "ok, so Sorry Thalia what happened this morning, what is the problem" she asked her

The reason Elvira had brought in her guests Thalia and Alva, who she was not even too close to, was that she had to go into the mines within a few days, but at the arrival of the earl and his son, she have been given the duty to accompany Cussusex during his stay here at Alzhamera

So for that reason of being a companion to Cussusex for his short stay here had she invited Thalia and Alva to come replace her in doing her duty her father had asked of, while allowing her the chance to go into the mine with no too much attention on where she went or was

“Some beaten a*s warrior with clucthes was rude to us when we only wanted to ask for your private chambers” Thalia said

Elvira now thinking that it must be Jinto, her father's honoured guard from the description Thalia had just given her, said "thankfully you didn't ask the warrior then"

“ we did, and he became more terrifying” Alva said, 'oh s**t' went Elvira's mind "he did not try to do anything to you guys, did he?" She asked

“no he didn't, how dare him touch a noble” Thalia replied

“would be going out somewhere today, so I would be introducing you guys to Cussusex before leaving, can I trust you guys to Keep him company?” she asked them both

“Oh that's goooood…” Alva bloomed with joy as she anticipated how the afternoon would be, spending time day with Cussusex and Elvira not being around 

“That would be perfect, we would surely keep him company” and they both giggled loudly, their mind carried away with l**t and ambitious intent for the young heir of Michigan

Elvira saw that things were going well and according to plan and it made her happy in her heart

With the day now fully bright and the morning ready to make memories, they heard a knock on the door

It was an announcing maid “My ladies, breakfast is ready and served on the general royal table” the maid spoke loudly so they could hear, not bothering to wait for the doors to be opened because she knows they never do, the nobles love their privacy

“Lady Matta said I should call you all, lady Elvira, lady Thalia and lady Alva to come join them at the royal general table, as the lords are waiting you all my ladies” the announcing maid added

“Ok, tell them we would soon be arriving at the table in a moment's time” Elvira called back to the announcing maid without opening the door
