The savage busines

"That's a fairly large number to transport" lord Alzath told him considering the usual order of about 50-100 savagers that comes in

“Yes I understand your suprise, but it's a very big match that would be coming up in the death Coliseum this coming 'month of traph', haven't you heard of it? ” lord Cuscox inquired

"Yes surely I have heard of the magnificent savage games that is to be held in the land of Galviberth, who hasn't" lord Alzath who was well aware of the games was expecting the request for the savagers since the Earl and his son arrived

Cussusex, a great admirer couldn't contain his excitement "the games are going to be marvelous, the sight …..oooh, the battle in the field, and the tension in the air in anticipation of bets made" 

“yes, it would be a marvelous match, seeing so many savagers fight to the death, that is worth watching a thousand times over” Earl Cuscox was just as excited as his son

“So the 300 savagers you are to bring to the coliseum games, are they your betting chip or just for turn over” lord Alzath inquired to know if he should join in the coliseum match bet 

“my betting chip of course, why else would I want the strong ones” Earl Cuscox said “i may even go into the mine together with my guards in search for particular savagers who are known for their previous dealings”

“Yeah that would be good for selection, I even have a list which you can use for the extraction, tho most savages in the list would not easily give in ” lord Alzath told the Earl, so when he and his minions go into the pit of death he would be slightly prepared

Cussusex seemed to be thinking about something, putting his mind off from the conversation from time to time

 “What seems to be the problem boy” his father asked him noticing the expression on his son's face

“Nothing, just thinking about stuffs, missing Michigan also ” he said smiling

“Then it's settle for the nubber of extraction, 300 savagers preferably strong ones” lord Alzath made sure not to say any price yet

“My team of savager extractors with their equipment would be arriving here very soon, I hired more on account of the volume I wish to extract” Earl Cuscox said

“We would get everything set in preparation for their coming and in due time our land mine guard would support you in the extraction” 

“Thank you very much lord Alzath, i assure you your deeds would would not go unrecorded” acknowledged Earl Cuscox, not know his counterpart has everything planned out

Like the initial situation where the Earl trampled on one of the maidens in the tavern Alzhamera on his journey here which he vowed to add to his cost on the savage business

So is any extra help or assistance offered would be added to the overall price later on and this had lord Alzath constantly smiling

“My lords, the carriage has arrived” a guard of the royal court came to announce, standing in a formal demeanor as required when addressing nobles of high ranking status

“And what carriage is that?” Earl Cuscox inquired of lord Alzath while the the royal court guard remains in an official stance in their presence

“Must be a surprise and I hope a delightful one” Cussusex added in a smiling tone

Lord Alzath stared in suprise, his mouth slightly agap and his eyes fixed to the announcing guard, he had no knowledge of an incoming guest or goods

“i myself have no knowledge of this now arrived carriage” lord Alzath divulged even tho that is a misgiving on his part, having no information on a visitor to his royal mansion

Now in curiosity they both turned their heads back to the announcing guard in synchrony looking on him for further details, the guard who was so perplexed that his whole body became stiff like an ice in regard to the powerful eyes fixed on him 

“So?, why the wait, who and what does the arrived carriage contains” Cussusex inquired from the announcing guard

“am sorry my lord, I did get the report but the details wasn't included in the message, so I expected m…” the guard answered with all his might to avoid shrinking into his own body

“what nonsense!” lord Alzath shouted at the guard, who was sure his stay is over as a guard of the nobles

Shivering, the guard couldn't stand it any longer "Please allow me my lords, I would go confirm the occupants of the carriage now" he requested, ready to move away from this weird position he's in, that have seemed to last a lifetime

"No you would not do that, we will all go together to welcome this unknown guest who comes to a royal mansion without getting an invitation or requesting a visit before hand" Earl Cuscox of Michigan said as he waved the guard to hold his peace, while looking at lord Alzath for confirmation

“Call my honoured guards and all other warriors on the premises, we are going to give our uninvited guests a well deserved welcome” he ordered the announcing guard

The announcing guard who was so grateful for the order which would require him to leave the royal court room, the intimidation of their presence and the previous attention on him was just too great

Fleeing in rush and haste to move away from the presence of such high dignitaries and carry out the order assigned, the announcing guard couldn't feel his legs, it was as if it had a life of its own, moving in quick strides in a rush out of the hall without his command not realization, but giving all thanks to his body for the actions he seems not to have instigated

As the guard went his way to perform the task which have been assigned to him, the royal court was as quiet as a graveyard, no one of them said anything, no one moved

It was a time of wait, waiting in anticipation of who or what have just arrived, with a sense of curiosity and impatience they sat quietly 

“Do you have any idea who this strange arrived visitor might be?” Heir Cussusex asked lord Alzath to make his at peace, which have been going wild on different scenarios likely to take place

“No, it is the first time such an event have happened, normally I get a letter stating an acquaintance request for visitation even before they start their journey or on their way here ” lord Alzath replied him “ this brings me great displeasure, for am surprised just as you all are”

“What if this was an attack on your royal mansion, or worst an assassination which is disguised like a visitor” Cussusex said in the heat of the moment

“They won't be able to cross the inner gate I assure you, the security we have in the royal surrounding of Alzhamera is impeccable” lord Alzath said to relax the tension growing up in their minds

Having waited a while, seeing that the message that the announcing guard was given must have been carried out by now, the Earl was now ready now ready to explore

“Your warriors and guards must have been already alerted by now I suppose, we should go receive this visitor and see what we are dealing with” Earl Cuscox stood up as he moves away from his sit

While lord Alzath and the Earl's son followed suit as they head towards the majestic door of the royal court hall which had other official buildings surrounding the premise

“My Lords” an official of the land of Alzhamera bows his head for a while until they passed him by, a noble with his glittering robes and well visible signs of wealth

Must be one of the show off type of nobles, who goes around in their majestic clothing to show off the difference between a noble and a commoner, never a savage that would be way below them they thought

They are not all useless, they serves their purpose' lord Alzath thought as he and the other lords passed by

“I got a message not too long from now, brought by a messager from my land” Earl Cuscox said to draw their attention as they walk like kings, slowly and gently in their majestic appearance, each step carrying the aura of a lord of lands

Maidens kneeling down with their heads fully bowed down until they have passed by, guards bowing their heads until the lord's are out of sight, so is the power the lords hold when in their land or a neighboring land

“My extracting team of warriors and guards with the cage carts for transporting the savagers would be arriving in two to three days time” the Earl continued talking as they walked 

“so we would be here for a while for the extraction and finalization of the deal, my bets for the upcoming games are going to be large, so the selection would have to be a detailed one"

“We gladly welcome your stay here, as long as you like and is needed, myself, wife and all the occupants of the royal surrounding of Alzhamera will make sure everything goes smoothly and comfortably for you and your son” the lord gave his word

He smiled inwardly 'and as always everything comes with a price' he thought, feeling good for his accumulated wealth

Getting to the main entrance where all incoming visitors and goods arrive through to enter into the premise of the royal surrounding which hosts most of the official buildings of the land of Alzhamera

The lords were stunned by their sight, at what it beholds before them
