Something fishy going on…
The day was so dull after the rebuke from Cussusex during the morning meal in the dinning hall
Thalia and Alva were not their active and jovial self as the reason in which they had come here in the first place was now diminished due to Cussusex behaviour
And now they didn't have Elvira to complain to, as they were her guest and she was supposed to make sure that they were happy during their stay at the royal mansion, but no, she was no where to be found
Thalia and Alva now having retreated to their rooms, not strolling around the halls and gardens in hope of finding Cussusex and thereby engage him with their presence
"What a dull and unpleasant day this have been"
"Right?" Thalia replied
"Everything just seems to be off-putting and boring me to death"
"I wonder where Elvira might be at this moment, she have just left us at her royal mansion and left without saying anything" Alva said
"Oh no, what are we gonna do now, we supported her absence while at the dinning hall in hope of getting Cussusex attention while she was gone…"
"Now it's even worst than before, he seems to be totally avoiding us like we were not entertaining"
"That's so untrue I may add"
"Yeah, we are a lot beautiful and so much fun to be with, don't you think?" Alva said as she assessed herself in the mirror
"Yeah dear, I am beautiful" Thalia said flashing her face like a model who just won a paegentry
"WE, I said we are beautiful, why do you have to be so selfish!" Alva said to Thalia in a fast paced voice
"My dear, being beautiful is personal, I am beautiful, I don't know about you"
Alva was now upset with Thalia as she was making her feel that she was not up to her standard with the constant personalization of the word beautiful while leaving Alva our of the equation every single time
"Whatever, you know am more beautiful than you and everyone always say that"
"So what you say does not matter, am beautiful also, even more beautiful than you a thousand times Thalia"
Thalia gave no reply to this as she had none from the intensity of how Alva had just spoken
Feed up with everything and not wanting to be in the same room with her friend at this moment, Alva left the room as she slammed the door behind her
"There she goes again" Thalia said as Alva left, probably hearing what Thalia had just said a bit
Getting out of the room was a big relief, she could now feel the fresh air outside as she strolled past the open halls
"Wow, the time have gone so much and we didn't even notice it" Alva thought, now outside and noticing the day was getting a little damped
'Darkness would probably be falling in a few hours' she thought 'haven't even eaten lunch yet, was too gloomy and carried away with me and Thalia gist that I had forgotten the exact time of the day'
Turning round to head back to the room from whence she had came from
"Ooooh…!" She was startled
"Didn't see you there, sorry..." Alva said to Cussusex who was sitting at the side of a long flower hedge, explaining the reason why she had not seen him at the time she was coming towards the area
"It's of no consequences" he relied in the most shortest of tone
'Yeah, no consequences to did he expect to punish or retaliate on me sneaking up on him unknowingly?' she thought
'he must be wrong somewhere then, feeling all high and mighty because he's the heir to the whole land of Michigan' she said in her mind
Still having the effect of the rejection he had made herself and Thalia undergo in the dining hall in her unconscious mind which felt to be arose on seeing him right now
"Ok, I see, what are you doing here?" Alva asked him
"Taking the fresh air the day have to offer as you can see"
'Yeah, I can definitely see that, but why this instead of everything else' Alva wanted to ask but then decided that she would be better off leaving it be
Remembering what he had done to them in the morning during breakfast, she decided to leave him be as he may reject her the secondary time in one day
And to see him do that would have broken her heart and she would have felt it more than the previous one which had happened in the morning as she was alone with him now and the rejection or rebuke would be directed directly at her, so not sharing the pain with someone else which reduces it bit
But to her suprise, as she was beginning to walk back the path she had came from, Cussusex called to her
"Would you like to join me this beautiful afternoon and look as the day turns dark this day?" Cussusex said as his words totally paused her in her steps
Turning towards him, she smiled, "I would definitely love that" she said immediately forgetting her past encounter with he with the hope that he was now into her and wanted to be near and as close her as possible.
She sat down on the long bench Cussusex was already sitting on at the other edge but closer to the middle of the bench
Portraying her most lady like manner in so as not to offend Cussusex as he have given her a chance which she had never had nor expected from him
They were all alone now in this secluded part of the garden that gave them a high feeling of privacy and both now here till the day gets dark, Alva was in ecstasy mood
Now sitting side by side with just a little space between themselves, Alva frequently stole some looks at the great Cussusex, heir to the land of Michigan and salivating on the possibility of having him all to herself
