Initial contact….
The warrior in charge of battle formations was doing his best to get everything set before the initial contact with the attacking party who they had not yet clearly make out who was their assailant
The general was now also preparing for the battle at hand, tucking in his clothing to be battle ready
"Take the cart to around that corner" the general said as he gave the cart rider the instructions pointing at a side of the field where there were at least three tree all around it
The rider turn around the cart carrying the general and Nelda as he headed back to a safe place far from the area of the supposed battlefield
The general unstrapped a bug sword from the cart of the cart they were on as the rider took the cart to the predetermined place that was already accessed by the general himself
Putting the weapon in his hands, he felt alive and a bit of shock ran through him like always when he wants to go into battle
"Stay here, you would be safe, we would continue when I get back from slaying these godforsaken people with no respect for authority he said as he jumped down the cart which was still moving to its hidden destination
The warriors now able to tell who was their assailant as they attackers had gotten much closer than expected
"It's the hedge riders!!" One of the warrior shouted to alert everyone as this was a strong and heretic set of fighters, having no need for keeping to the status quo nor a formation the opponent can tell beforehand so as to be able to effectively tackle them
The warrior in charge of battle formations was now clear of what steps they should take
" All cart carrying loads should be used as shield in the front in order to take the first impact, make sure not to keep only a small distance between the load carts to avoid clogging everything" the strategist was giving the instructions as everyone follows whatever he says
The general coming with his big sword crossed across his shoulder as he walked towards where all the warriors were preparing for the upcoming battle
Nelda was now searching through the belongings of the the general in search of anything that could reveal some top secret information so as to be able to know how to tackle what was in the books; getting out of the grips of the organisation, who was effectively using her as a pawn right now
The hedge riders were now gaining ground on the distance between the both of the two parties, taking up much of the dust of the earth as they rode hard towards the group they hope to slay in all their might
"Brace for impact!!!..." The warrior in charge of battle formations finally said as the riders were already here at the foot of the carts that were placed to stop the first batch of the ferocious hedge riders
The Hegde riders are warriors who are known for living in the free lands, mostly lands of the open with a bit of desert, making them a formidable force against anything that stands in their way as the have defiled the natures elements, now not even the human element could as much as touch them was their famous belief
The hedge rider were a great propagators of the free land idealogy as they say, " land is a free gift of nature, and no one is allowed to own it as it belongs to all, and all are meant to be free to use it how ever they please
This made the hedge riders of the fields a direct enemy of the Red dynasty and all who takes land for themselves for ownership as a threat to hedge riders
Tho they never go into the town's and cities, but reside in the fields and deserts, roaming the lands in freedom and carrying along their death sentence to all who goes against their idealogy, especially the top people of the Red dynasty
Taking a direct hit at the carts , the first set of charging hedge riders were already fallen off from the impact of the hit to the carts lined up, but sacrificing their holding to open a large chunk of space for the rest of the tribe to pass through
"Time to go to your graves, you blasphemy of our free earth!!.." a voice from one of the hedge riders said as they entered into the enclosure of the Red dynasty warriors squad
"And that grave shall take you relatives of the Savagers off the face of the earth and into the mines, down to hell" general Void replied the statement as he runs towards the person who was obviously the commander of this set of hedge riders, he's giant sword now drawn from his shoulder as he charged towards the hedge riders commander
"Back to the f*****g grave from whence thou cometh from" General Void shouted as both of the weapon clashed into a heavy hit sending general void back a little as the commander of the hegde riders was on a horse and had a more powerful top down strike with his weapon that was as long as a spear but then having a heavy sharp edge cutlass blade
This sent the two leaders into a super death fight in the middle of warriors and hedge riders fighting themselves all around the leaders
"Get off this earth, and get carried away by the vultures of the air" the hedge rider commander shouted as he charged towards general void once again, galloping round the general to isolate him and take repeated strikes at him
Blocking the strike from the hedge rider commander, general void sent his huge sword into a return move as he sent the sword; the berserker as he normally calls it through the body of the hedge riders commander horse, making him stumbled upon the ground
"How's that for 'taking you down into the ground" general void said to the hedge riders commander.
And immediately an arrow pierced into the neck of a hedge rider on a horse charging to take a strike at the general from his blind spot
The commander of the hedge riders now lost in the crowd of fighters as he's strategy of the blind spot attack had failed and he's favourite battle horse was now killed by the general of the
