Chapter Five

The Nobles dinner...

At the royal court of Alzhamera where Alzath the Councillor of Alzhamera and other of his officials stays, usually to carry out their duties

Sitted in the chamber, one of the offices in the court house were Alzath, Alzhamera councillor and Earl Cuscox of Michigan and his son when Matta, Elvira mother came in.

“Welcome your grace, welcome” she greeted them as she came in, behind her came series of the maidens of the hall, some carrying trays of food and presenting it at the wide table in front of the guest, while some others with the jars of wine and rum

Then came in the ‘maidens of the night’ with their perfumed clothing making the whole chamber filled with their enticing aroma and the dressing that can make a man forget his plight

Lining up beside the wall, all posed in their most captivating positions revealing their different body parts for the men's arousal

“i present to you gentlemen, the maidens of Alzhamera and our special delicacies which is well prepared by the most honoured of chef in the land of Alzhamera”

“Among the maidens, we have …..” she carried on, giving details about each of the girls presented before them; their names, age, where they come from and other similar details

“Wonderful my dearest, presenting such delicacies to us” lord Alzath appreciated his wife

“The maidens are not for you tho”

And the Earl and his son laughed in response to her statement

“What about Elvira your daughter of I may ask, won't she be coming out to greet us” Cussusex couldn't wait any longer, she was the main reason he agreed to join his father on this journey “its been a long while since we last met and I would love to make acquitance with her he smiled

And she was special to him for no woman has ever refused him save Elvira, and that was something he wouldn't or couldn't bear, making him become obsessed with her, seeing her like some kind of ultimate challenge of acquisition, an item he would murder the word in order to acquire

“She would soon be here lord Cussusex, she promised she would be”, that surprised him because he did not expect she would agree to see him at all after their last encounter “Perfect, that's good madam”

“I will take the silvian girl, she should wait for me in my private chamber” Earl Cuscox chose the tallest of the maidens, “what about you Cussusex” asking in order to finalize everything before she leaves

“I don't need a maiden of the night, if Elvira could just keep me company, that would be the greatest gift”

This time it was the lord Alzath that replied him “your request is much our obligation to carry out, but I must say, that depends on Elvira herself on fulfilling what you have just requested, we will do our best to make her talk to you during your stay here”

Matta was now leaving when the Earl called her “why don't you bring Elvira along so we can all done together”

“Yeah” Cussusex chipped in, “that would be perfect, like one family” he smiled

As much as being referred to as family with the Earl of Michigan is enticing and high placing, lord Alzath didn't want the situation that happened last time between his daughter and the Earl's son to repeat itself again, a situation caused by Cussusex misbehaviour

“I also think that would be alright, we can all dine together before we men stay behind and talk business” lord Alzath approved

"Ok let me go get her, she must still be in the exterior halls practicing her archery" Matta informed them 

"The archress of Alzhamera" Cussusex sighed "a noble being a woman warrior and becoming so famous around the Red dynasty, your daughter would have been a fine ambitious young man lord Alzath, too bad she's a female 

"We had to accept the fact and live with it, for she was this way since a young age, what could we do, we wanted to give her everything. Unfortunately she choose the bow and arrow" lord Alzath said as an explanation to cussusex remarks

"At least she would have had chosen the crossbow, that would have been more dignified" Cussusex wouldn't let it go "and word I am hearing is that she has befriended a savage who goes by the name Belitrus"

This was a shock to Earl Cuscox "what in Ed's name are you saying?" looking displeased and perplexed "that is impossible and unheard of, you can't be serious"

"I assure you dad I speak the truth, news tend to go around fast here in Alzhamera, I was shocked as you are, even a mere commoner would have been catastrophic, but a savage?, I was surprised dad"

"I think we should start eating and leave the matter for now, so she answers it herself when she gets here, hearing that irritates me as much as it does to you" lord Alzath said in a squeeze face to signify his irritation with his daughter attitude

"But is this Belitrus the savage not of your mine, why don't you eliminate him out immediately, he shouldn't be allowed to see another day, this is a disgrace to the nobles" Earl Cuscox voiced out the lost easiest solution he can think of

"Believe me I have tried that, and I wanted to go about it silently to avoid my daughter knowing it was me, but it seemed this Belitrus was a bit of a warrior"

"Twice I have tried that, twice the savage and mine guard I used was killed by this Belitrus of a Savage" lord Alzath said in frustration "adding to the matter is my daughter rebuking me of what I have done, threatening to go live in the mine if the savager Belitrus was ever tried to be killed again 

"What!!? He actually killed a mine guard?" Asked Cussusex in shock, one which was obviously shared with his father

"Yeah unfortunately so, we have reached out to the family and and make sure the news doesn't spread"

At this Elvira burst into the room, walking in long strides into the chamber "greetings noble guests of Michigan" she said nonchalantly "welcome to the noble home of lord Alzath and his wife, hope you are comfortable as always..." she was saying, probably as a mocking gesture

"Welcome my lady Elvira" Cussusex was the one to respond "come and sit beside me, it been so long I have almost forgotten your face" he lied, she was all he could ever think of always 

"Oh thanks bit I think I will prefer to sit far away from your side, if that's alright with you, your highness" she mockingly again as she moved towards her sit beside her mother

"Distasteful, just absolutely....." the Earl started talking, about to bring up the matter of their previous discussion as lord Alzath interrupted his words with the prayer for the food so they can start eating "In all honour we thank the Edian gods for providing this great meal for us he's underlings of the earth...." 

And with that, they all started eating, forgetting their different concerns of the world while in a feast of really well prepared meal
