The team gathered around the computer, their eyes scanning the data they had risked so much to obtain. The revelation was shocking – the facility was involved in a clandestine project, one that could have disastrous consequences for the city.
"This is huge," Jax said, his voice low and serious. "We need to take this to the authorities."
"But who can we trust?" Emily asked, her brow furrowed with concern.
Lena nodded. "We've seen how deep the corruption goes. We can't risk going to the wrong people."
Ava's mind was racing. "I think I know someone who can help us. A professor on campus, Dr. Kim, she's always been an advocate for transparency and accountability."
The team debated the risks, but ultimately decided to trust Dr. Kim. They arranged a meeting, hoping she would be the ally they needed.
As they sat in Dr. Kim's office, Ava felt a sense of trepidation. What if they were wrong to trust her? But Dr. Kim's expression turned grave as she listened to their story.
