By the time Marlene finished shopping with the girls, she was beyond exhausted. Not physically exhausted, but mentally from dealing with them all day. Not once did she ever imagine that Lola being back would be a problem for her, because she thought her friends understood why she would never want to see her again, but they just ruined the day for her.
