60: Bite me, Mark me
Her question was clear to head and immediately she saw his jaw clenching. Instead of saying anything he kept that stern look on his face without saying anything at all and after some time, after they had a staring contest he finally said something even though it was not exactly what she expected to hear.
“Let's go.” That was it. That was all he had to say to her.
She really could not believe it. “Tell me now,” she demanded. There was absolutely no use in waiting anymore not when she had discovered that there was a lot more for her to learn and she had already learned something so she might as well get the whole story.
“I wouldn't know. I can't answer you right now. Only after I've checked” he said to her and just arched her eyebrows at him in absolute disbelief.
