Marlene immediately assumed it was Reed, but when she pulled it out of her bag and realized that it was Michael, she suddenly sighed, “I need to take this”, she said to Tony. And Tony just nodded his head before grabbing his own phone and going through it to look polite enough and like he was not interested in the conversation that she would be having. As soon as she picked up, she tried her hardest to sound cheerful.
