She had promised herself and had promised him that it did not matter what happens with Matt, that she would not let it ruin what they have. “Do you want to go explore the city?” Michael asked. The first night he said to her once he made it to the car and stripped the seatbelt around her.
She was surely surprised. He appeared to be in a good mood. He did not look like someone that had just finished meeting Matt up when he was so worked up in there like that.
Marlene did not even know what to say. Was she supposed to stop him from being in such a good mood? Definitely not. She liked seeing him in such a good mood.
“I don't know. I'm feeling a bit tired, but you're right”. Marlene responded, realizing that it definitely would not be such a good idea to feel exactly that
