Chapter Eighty Four
Marlene's eyes fluttered open as she stretched out her arms. She felt her hand hit something and immediately she was alerted and had to investigate what it was. When she opened her eyes more clearly she realized that it was Michael in bed next to her.
She didn't even know when she had fallen asleep. All she knew was that she was struggling to fall asleep the previous night and it had taken a lot of effort to actually get her to fall asleep. The book was definitely still somewhere in bed.
