Marlene squeezed her eyes shut as she crreeped out of the bed covers.
His words replayed in her head.
"You are really going to be the death of me."
Impossible. He was her death, right then and there.
She had even snuck in a nap after having s*x with him again. She should have been in her apartment by now. She was neglecting everything and everyone.
