"Done?" Marlene asked while nibbling on her bottom lip.
"Yes, done." Reed responded before she tilted her monitor screen away from Marlene's prying eyes.
"No need to know exactly what I said. I kept it professional. He offered you leave and you are taking it. I wanted to tell him off, but I didn't." Reed stated and Marlene resisted the urge to ask to see the email again.
