Chapter Sixty Eight: Unwilling Agreement
She needed a moment to actually calm myself down and find a new strategy. It looked like she was really not getting any sleep tonight because unless she had convinced him, she could not let herself sleep. So she got out of bed, hoping that would finally get him to budge.
“Come back here”, he said to her when she made it to the door and she finally turned round and crossed her arms over her chest. “Why? would you let me see him?” He turned around and looked her straight in the eyes before he responded. “No, I will not let you see him”, he said to her and she just nodded her head.
