11: Well played
The reason Marlene decided to be early today had nothing to do with what was happening at the moment. After driving while sobbing, she finally parked her car and let all her tears out. She sobbed till her heart was aching and she was getting hiccups, another thing she really hated about crying. It always gave her hiccups if she did it excessively.
"Just great!" She exhaled before pulling the visor mirror down and her jaw dropped at the atrocity before her. She could barely recognise herself. Her eyes were puffy and her makeup had run and she had not packed a makeup bag like she does sometimes. The only thing left to do was to wipe it all off. At least she had wipes in her car.
