Killian's POV Killian sat still in his office, the room too quiet for his liking. The silence wasn’t peaceful, not anymore. It felt like a warning. Like something was watching. No clatter of shoes across the tiled hallway. No random knock on the door. No laughter from the breakroom, no scent of brewed coffee wafting in. The employees were gone.
