Celeste's POV. When I creaked the door open, warm air welcomed me, the type that filled me with comfort, even if it was just for a moment. Or maybe it was just him, or maybe it was the scent of his cologne that sent comfort down my veins. Every time I was near him, my senses dulled and sharpened all at once. It was maddening and terrifying, like drowning and breathing at the same time. He was sitting at the fireplace, bare-bodied.
