Killian's POV. I just laid there, still, stiff. My entire body felt heavy like it was stuck under a rock. I tried moving my legs, but they wouldn't move. My thinking space was clouded, and I could barely remember anything. I had passed out, that was all I knew. The room was quiet, except for the steady, familiar beep sounds that only came from a monitor. I blinked slowly, too slowly; I could keep count of them.
