I couldn't see it, I kept facing back and forth my heart drumming in my chest. The police were currently at the hideout, if everything went as planned they should get here with Celeste. I had never felt this much peace before. It was as if every other misfortune happening in my life was no longer present. It was as if I was no longer the most hated man in the country, my stocks were not plummeting and my company was not on the verge of closing down. I just wanted to see Celeste again. I wanted to hold her in my arms and touch her face.
With Celeste beside me, I would be strong, and I would overcome whatever challenge I was going through.
