Killian’s POV. It had been three days. Three f*****g days! And she hadn’t said a word to me since the night we nearly lost ourselves in each other. I could never forget that night in a hurry. I wondered how she was able to go by without speaking to me. Celeste avoided me like a plague, ducking into rooms when I entered, keeping her distance with the kind of restraint that only made me want to chase her more. That night had left me starved, my mind infected by the taste of her, the scent of her soft skin, even the sound of her moans.
