From the look on her face, I knew something was wrong. I sure wasn't going to let her go without telling me what it was.
"Talk to me," I said in a soft tone.
"It's Adrian." She started. My heart skipped. What was he up to now?
"He ...he's working with Dominic. Said if he couldn't get me, no one would."
Fuck!
Adrian was working with Dominic.... trying to bring me down. And now he was unapologetically after the love of my life. I had been taking things too slow. It now made me look weak. I wasn't going to let this slide.
She interrupted me before I could stop thinking. "I'm moving back into the mansion with you until this is all over."
