Dominic’s POV The night was heavy and thick. Not because of the chill that the storm sent through, but because of the silence. The silence after the control I needed had finally slipped back into my hands. I slowly lit a cigarette as I watched the woods in the fireplace burn. The warmth it brought sent satisfaction down my spine. The men hadn’t reported back to me yet, and they didn’t have to. I had already heard her scream. It was too f*****g satisfying. I grinned widely as I smoked my cigarette. I had handled everything perfectly well. But something inside me twitched. The fact that she was strong enough to take down three men....,it bothered me. She wasn't supposed to be that skilled. “You didn’t tell me she was trained,” I heard Sasha's voice coming from behind me, low and cold.
