“How are you feeling now?” A gentle voice woke Mike and he opened his eyes. He was lying on a mat. The people have started preparing what they will eat for breakfast. At the very far end of the tents was their general kitchen. A big pot of food was on fire. The tent was empty. This was the first time he’d slept in peace since he left Portsmouth. The first time his dawn knew peace, and the first time he’d woken up with a smile. There were various tiny spaces between the roof of the tent. It allowed sunlight to pass and this made the tent visible. He saw how the tent was, and how they disorganized their beds at dawn. And re-organized it at night and this ate up the spaces in the tent.
