After what seemed like the longest carriage ride she’s ever taken, Kat and her family arrived at The Palace gates. They looked heavy. It took several Palace guards to open them. Once they were inside, Lily and the other horses trotted towards the entrance. Kat could hear trumpet sounds. No doubt announcing their arrival. As the carriage pulled to a stop, Kat watched The Palace doors open.
Captain Spencer and several other people stepped out of the doors. Captain Spencer opened the carriage door, and another man with light blonde hair and light brown eyes, so soft they almost looked golden, stepped forward, offering his hand to Kat, Gee, and Josephine as they each stepped out of the carriage. He then shook hands with Richard and George.
