Chapter 24 Jessica –––––––– Jordan was distant for the rest of our meal and on the ride back to his cabin. The tension between us put a horrible knot in my stomach. We’d been having such a good time, laughing and joking the last few hours, and now he’d suddenly closed down on me. I wanted to blame it on the lawyer, but I knew the real reason.
