Kenzi:
I was pacing the kitchen floor and rereading Alex's note for the hundredth time. Initially, I had only meant to take a short nap but ended up waking up in the middle of the night after sleeping for more than ten hours straight. Alex had left a note and Chelsey was fast asleep on the living room couch, leaving me alone to my thoughts. I couldn't help but drift to Alex and hope that he would make it back to me in one piece. As the sun rose, so did Chelsey, but she was of little help getting my mind off Alex.
