“Remind me again why we shouldn’t kill him?” Asher asked, glaring at the man who realized too late that he was pushing too many buttons at a time.
It was times like this I loved putting people in their place. We might be in need, but that doesn’t mean we will be looked down upon. We still hold our place as the rulers, and a mutt who sees himself as a Beta needs to understand that.
