Kaelen's POV I took a step forward towards the general. “Would you take my advice?” I asked, my eyes locked on his unwavering gaze. A soldier scoffed. “Who do you think you are? A commander? Or an Iron General?” he mocked. “My father was one,” I said, and they all laughed. “What will you say next? That you're General Six?” another soldier said. General Six — a name I had almost long forgotten. Ten generals went into battle. We were trained together and knew how best to tackle our enemies with I, the only female.
